RESUME

All my work on the impact of domestic violence

Career profile

Authenticity - Integrity - Competence

Currently a doctoral student in social work at the University of Ottawa, I first developed research expertise in the social sciences, specializing in the issue of domestic violence against women and its impact on their children.

My interest in this issue emerged very early in my career, both as a practitioner and as a researcher.

Indeed, I began by obtaining a certificate in intervention with women while pursuing my bachelor's degree in social work. I then completed a master’s degree in social work in 2021, which focuses on the social mechanisms that conceal domestic violence against women.

My research projects focus on concrete issues that require particular attention, notably those related to interventions for victims, and more recently, for violent individuals.

My goal as a researcher and future teacher is to contribute to the development of knowledge that will shed light on certain organizational problems. These problems, which are often structural, have an impact on the development of individuals, communities and society. Moreover, they influence the functioning of certain governance systems, whether public or para public.
